FAQ
What is a drive in racking system and how does it work?
A drive in rack system allows forklift trucks to enter the storage lanes directly to deposit or retrieve pallets. It operates on a First-In, Last-Out (FILO) inventory management basis, making it ideal for storing high volumes of uniform items.
How much storage space can be saved by using drive in racks?
Drive in racking can increase warehouse space utilization by more than 30% compared to standard selective pallet racking, achieving up to 90% space availability and 60% ground footprint utilization.
What are the recommended maximum lane depths?
Generally, we recommend no more than 7 pallet locations in depth per lane to maintain operational efficiency and forklift safety during routine access.
Can drive in racks be customized to specific dimensions and weight loads?
Yes, dimensions including height, depth, width, and weight capacity can be fully customized according to your warehouse layout, pallet specifications, and structural requirements.
What certifications and surface finishes are available?
Our drive in racking systems are certified with CE, AS4084, and ISO9001:2008 standards. Surface finishes include durable powder coating and hot-dip galvanization for rust prevention.
